This teak-wood penstand comes from the land of wood-products, Saharanpur. The 'IIT Bombay' text and logo is etched into the wood surface ... making it permanent, and completely natural (as against printing on wood). The additional beauty of this graceful penstand is that having been made of teak-wood, its color 'enrichens' as it spends more time getting 'tanned' or oxidised in the atmosphere! The Skyline T-shirt - Unisex
One of the best-ever sellers at the store - this is an elegant t-shirt that shows the skyline of IIT Bombay (as one moves from the Vihar towards the Main Gate): the hostels, hills, arch, the IDC pencil, shack etc. Plus, we couldn't leave the leopard out, could we! Simply: a must buy.
Rubber Wood 1-Pen-Clock Stand
One of Bombay76's most graceful wooden products, this pen-cum-clock-stand is made of rubberwood. The pen (which comes gratis with the stand) is made of plastic.
The clockpiece is quartz-stuff, has an elegant dial that shows the numbers in Roman numerals, and can be easily detached from the main body for battery replacement or time setting.
The 'IIT Bombay' text and logo is etched into the surface of the wood that, unlike printing, renders it as permanent as you would want it to be!

What Is Bombay76?

Bombay76 is ... well ... a pet name (or, brand name, you may say!) of the official merchandising store of IIT Bombay. While the store has been running within the campus since 2003, in 2009 the IITBAA decided to reanimate the entire concept. That's when 'Bombay76' was born, and a whole deal of new changes were brought to the product range, the shop floor, the product quality etc.


The overwhelming response we got from the students, visiting alumni, and visitors to IIT Bombay has tempted us to add this website. So, now, anyone who cannot access the physical store in the campus can still buy the products on display here!
